ProDek complies with the ADA for wheelchair accessibility (ASTM 1951). All children should have access to playground activities.
In-House Installers
A factory installed surface provides the owner with the assurance that their playground is installed correctly the first time with peace of mind their children will be safe relative to fall protection. Our customers can also be assured knowing that one company will see their project through completion and then back the project throughout the warranty period.
Maintenance
The ProDek system is a low maintenance surface that carries a multi-year warranty. ProDek can be easily cleaned with a soft bristled brush and garden hose, or naturally by rainfall. ProDek recommends a bi-annual “deep clean” using a power washer and vacuum extraction process. ProDek will provide this service if requested.
Porous
ProDek being a porous product provides a system that eliminates standing water after the rains as well as helps dramatically in the cleaning process.
Safety
ProDek is designed to meet the latest CPSC guidelines and ASTM F1292 standard test requirements, which offers maximum performance and maximum liability coverage.
Seamless
ProDek as a system is mixed and troweled on site, this provides a unique seamless system that prevents in surface trip hazards.
Slip Resistant
The ProDek’s coefficient of friction characteristics enhance reduction and probability of slip and fall accidents.
Recycled
The majority of the rubber used in the ProDek system is derived from post consumer tire product. Our system is made from 70% recycled tires and 30% virgin colored rubber.
Vandalism
ProDek surfacing system has proven over time to be the most effective playground choice for resisting vandalism.
